The SongarkiveAladura revival
The praying church movement that began among Yoruba Christians in the 1920s and 30s and produced churches such as Christ Apostolic Church, the Cherubim and Seraphim and the Celestial Church of Christ. It generated a large body of song, most of it composed in worship rather than written down.
